10/1/2018 October...

Bueno!! Hope you all had a good week, here are some highlights of mine:

Alicia- Tuesday morning we get a text from the Elders to stop by Alicias around noon, as we were on the way back from a lesson a little after 10 with a member we felt it would be good to stop by Alicia and have a member present right off the first lesson. Well no answer... We dropped the member off and decided to head to the library to do some studies. As we parked and got out I noticed this lady sitting by the entrance, immedietly the spirit said "that is Alicia" we didnt know what she looked like so this very well could be her! As we approach her we started up a conversation then asked if she had every met missionaries before, she preceded to tell us about how the Elders met with her a month ago and that they would be going by at 12 to meet her again but that she couldnt because she was running some errands... well to make a long story short she ended up being Alicia and we told her the Elders told us to stop by, we were able to teach the message of the restoration of the gospel right then and there and talk to her about General Conference. It was seriously the coolest thing ever, the fact that we just randomly "ran into" her, I know the Lord has his hand in our loves and is leading us to his children!

Karyn & Miguel- They seriously crack me up, so we had a few lessons with them this week amd we put them both in date!!! So needless to say Woodstock will be having a fair share of baptisms next month!  Im pumped! Anyways we figured out it best to share a principle in english then spanish and keep it short. So I would explain in english then right after translate it in spanish then Hermana Anguiano would do the same. Not gonna lie it was so hard going back and forth between languages, by the end I was trying to speak to Karyn in spanish then realized she had no idea what I was saying. We asked Miguel to say the closing prayer and Karyn said "english please", then in Miguels broken spanish he said "No, I cant do everything in English!" Then prayed in Spanish! So savage! Then we sang him las mañanitas because ot was his birthday, he got so excited! They came to church this week and brought their friend with them as well, they are the best.

Memo & Izzy- They are 8 and 9 and have SO MUCH ENERGY. We taught them the plan of salvation and drew it outside with chalk for them, then played tag. It was fun, they couldnt come to church yesterday and they were so sad! But they said they will next time.

Clementina- We also taught the plan of salvation and long story short we ended up going to the Catholic church with her and met the Father (idk what they are called) after and he knew who we were right away, he said he thought it was a little weird we were their, but was glad we were able to come and listen. Their church buildings are beautiful! Hermana Anguiano thought it was so funny though because I was the "only white person there" so he probably saw us coming from a mile away. Overall it was fun.

Denise- I just love her so much, she is seriosuly the best. She has been giving us and the Elders so many referrals. Seriously best thing ever!

Last night we were leaving the church and I was like okay Hermana lets get these things rolling, and she looked at me SOOO CONFUSED, then said "like you want me to roll on the ground?" It was so funny! So then I had to explain it to her, and she says it all the time now, she even it in our district calls, it was perfect!

Well I hope you all have a great week!! Church is true book is blue!

Love,
Hermana Cutler
