6/11/2018 Til We Meet Again

We recieved transfer calls last night to find out I will be leaving Blue Island ): Goodbye South Side Chicago, it was nice knowing you! I will be heading back up North to an area called Woodstock... I'll be serving in a Spanish Branch, and then an English Ward too. Looks like i'll have to learn to teach the gospel in english too! I guess we will see how that one goes. My Companion is the lovely Hermana Pressley, I served around her for a little when I first got to Blue Island im excited to be able to work with her!

This week was great, we found a new investigator through a ward activity of playing soccer at the park! Probably my new favorite contacting method. The family is super legit too, we went the day after and taught such a powerful lesson with the Elders.

Elder Salamanca and I played a special musical number in sacrament since we would both most likely be getting transfered out. We played "Un Pobre Forastero", then right after outta the blue we got called up to bare our testimonies because everyone thought we were leaving (even though we hadnt recieved a transfer call yet!). Fun times.

Other than that my last week in Blue Island was amazing! Im so sad to have to leave this place and the people here, but im so grateful for the time I was given.

I love you all, have a great week!!!
