2/5/2018 West Mission to the Best Mission

Another crazy week in the great land of Chicago!

Thanks to all those who watched our Live Church Tour last night, and for all your comments. It was a sucess and we will be doing one in spanish hopefully in the next couple of weeks (it will be a little different, so stay tuned!) 

Our investigator was unfortunatley not able to be baptized this week due to a little road block, but all is well and we will continue helping her. She has that desire to learn and be baptized, we just have to help her get to that point.

I found out that Hermana Marple and I will be staying in Blue Island for another transfer!!! We are so excited!!!!! Which means I will be killing her at the end of the transfer (she will be going home). 

Also our mission was just informed that we will be combining with the Chicago West Mission. As of July 1st 2018, our mission President will be taking over this mission and most the other mission. But we will still be the Illinois Chicago Mission #westmissioniscomingtothebestmission. We will go from 130 missionaries to about 200! It shall be fun! 

Crazy story of the week:

Last night we were sitting in a cita with a part member familia, when I noticed on the couch right behind hermana was a mouse just chilling there!! Right by her head! Her son definetly noticed it too, but didnt say anything... well when she got up, we turned to her other hijo and asked "Qué es esto?". Oh man his face was priceless, he went from happy to straight fear in a second! He just screamed "Mama!!" And all the boys ran to the corner, Hermana was the one brave enough to kill it, but luckily they got it, I guess they have been trying to catch that little guy for a week now! #citaswiththehermanitas
