10/22/2018 Chi 5

Bueno!!!!

Seriously Chi 5 is amazing, I love being here and biking, and being able to serve with Hermana Page again (she has been here for 4 weeks so we are both trying to figure out all the members still)!! Things are grrrreat!!!!!

Adventures of the week:
-So we are on bikes #bikelife and sometimes its a struggle, especially because the change of seasons. But anyways I seriously LOVE IT. The other day we were biking to a cita, and on the way there we shaw like 20 police cars outside of a bar so something was going down inside, but we were biking alongside traffic kinda waiting for cars to get moving when this guys openeds his door and hits Hermana Page!! Luckily she was hardly moving so she didnt get hurt, but he goes "oh no, I'll by you dinner!" Then procedes to try to flirt with us! It was so weird!

-Marcelino y Maria!!! They are literally the best! So background the last missionary that was here met them while on exchanges, so niether Hermana Page or I knew them. But we get there (late, due to the whole police and getting hit by the door insident, and locking our keys in the apartment...) and they were so excited! They got home late and thought they missed us. Well basically they are amazing, and golden so we are pumped to continue teaching them! They thought it was funny though because aparently Hermana Page and I have different spanish accents!

-Our phone call this morning with Avelina to confirm a lesson:
Avelina: "okay come over at 9:30, wait I still gotta eat breakfast and drink my coffee! ... oh wait what am I saying I dont eat breakfast. Come over at 9:30 then."

-During our lesson with Avelina:
Avelina: "My niece has 16 children, and shes younger than me! Let me see she has 7 boys and 3 girls, how many does that make?"
*Hermana Page and I look at each other* "uhh.... ten..."
Avelina: *starts naming off the children* "okay yeah 4 boys and 3 girls"
Us: "so 7...."
Avelina: "no one died, so there is 5 boys and 3 girls!"
Us: *confused outta our mind* "8?"
Avelina: "yeah, what I said!"

-On the way to church with Avelina:
Avelina: "you know I was thinking about my baptism date, and I wanna move it... back. I want it to be warm so that when I get baptized itll be warm outside"
Hermana Page: "well youll be getting baptized in the church so you wont have to worry about that, plus is you want to get baptized when its warm we'd rather have you do it sooner."
Avelina: "What about January?"
Hermana Cutler: "How about you get baptized in November around thanksgiving so you can be thankful for you baptism..."
Avelina: "Yeah! Well not on thanksgiving  because Ill be cooking all day!"
So long story short she is on date for baptism for November 10th!
But she is straight loca!

Well hope you all have a great week!
