Nothing too much happened this week that I can remember, a cool experience that happened though was we got a Bible Referral and were stoppong by to drop it off and hopefully talk to the person who wanted it. Well there was like 7 doors to this house!! And one of the doors was a very unhappy old investigator of the Elders. Well with our luck that was the first door we knocked... they werent super happy but they directed us to the right door. We knocked... no answer. So then for fun we knocked all the doors there and no one else answered. The last door we waited at for a good 5 minutes then left. As we were headed down the street I hear someone yelling behind us so I turn a round and this guy is running after us asking if we had knocked his door, we explained who we were and long story short gave him a Libro de Mormón and got a return appointment! It was cool, Ive never had someone I tried knocking into run down the street to see what we had to say!
Adventures of the Week:
- We taught sunbeams this week with another return missionary... it was wild... we also didnt know we were teaching 4 year olds! We thought it was going to be 11 year olds! So that was fun.
- The fair was in town! It was set up right next to oir apartment, sadly we couldnt go but it was fun to drive by it everyday!
- Our investigators daughter Akira had a birthday, she turned 6 and had a Michael Jackson party. We helped set up and met so many cool people, it was fun!! But also very stressful...
- oh then the next day she ate some hazlenuts and had a really bad allergic reaction to it and ended up in the hosptial. Shes doing a lot better now though!
- There was a huge thunderstorm last night, and it was so dark! But it was fun wartching the lightning light up the whole sky.
- Fireflies are still everywhere around us! I LOVE them!!
