It was a week full of Miracles out here in Woostock!
We had an amazing lesson with our investigator on date named Roberto. We taught him about the importance of church and the sabbath day, then ended by singing Himno 102 "Hoy con humildad te pido" the spirit was so strong and touched his heart! The Hymns are so powerful!! He then told us he would come to church this sunday! We told him we could take him and show him around / where the building is at (its literally in the middle of nowhere) so he would be more comfortable on sunday. Well he was like I have some time right now, so we immeditelty headed over to the church and gave him a tour! He loved it, and opened up to us a ton! He is such a cool guy, and wants a better life! (Sadly he couldnt come to churh this week, but next week we hope to get him there!!)
We had exchanges and I got to go back to my first area in Gurnee for the day with the amazing Hermana Dayton! We saw my recent convert Manny, and the best senior couple ever, the Litkes!!! We didnt tell him I was coming, so when we walked in he was in so much shock and confused becuase he thought I was still down south side, but got super excited to see me again. It was fun hearing about all he has been doing, and how life has been treating him. Just like old times! It was cool seeing everything that has changed over in Gurnee and what they have been up to, good things are happening!
We saw FIREFLIES (Luciérnagas) this week!! They are EVERYWHERE!! We were at a recent converts house and were admiring them from the window when they told us to go out side and catch some with their kids, it was probably the best thing ever! Since then we've seen them everywhere!
Things are great and getting better!
