What a great week! We were able to finish teaching Nilda all the lessons prior to baptism, now she just needs to keep coming to church, and be interview by our mission president then she will be able to be baptized. She is way awesome, everytime we go over we always learn something from her. Her life in the past month has shifted a whole 180, as she has learned and accepted the things we teach she has drawn closer to her Heavenly Father, and has been able to find a lot of peace in her life. This gospel has helped her get through the tough things she has been going through, and we have been able to witness all the blessings she has recieved in the past few weeks. Things are great!
On the other hand we had almost ever other cita cancel on us... even members. Which wasnt the best but when the hard weeks come so do the miracles. Things are still great and getting better, we are looking forward to another amazing week here in Blue Island.
Our mission has been selected as a special trial mission for the next year. We are one of 12 missions with smart phones, and the only mission where the church has bought a few phrases on google search such as "What is my purpose in life?", "Who is God?" Etc. Then when people in the Chicago area type these into google search the LDS website pops up and people are able to chat with missionaries in Salt lake, then these missionaries refer them to us. The Lords work sure is progressing!
