Wow. What a week!
Zone Conference:
Hermana Page and I got to do a training about Charity, it went very well and was a ton of fun. We also talked about the Christmas initiative for the church and are planning for that, President Bingham wants to get one of the Light the World vending machines for the city so we will see if he will be able to! Espero que sÃ!!
Exchanges:
I went to Chi 1 (also a biking area) for the day with a new missionary names Sister Lusty, she seriously is the most adorable missionary ever!! It was fun meeting all the people they teach and seeing how they do things over there. It remimded me a ton of when I was being trained, cant believe that was a year ago!
So we went on exchanges right after zone conference and as we got into the car I asked Sister Lusty if she had the keys, she said yes. So we drove an hour home, we get out and head to their apartment door and Sister Lusty goes "Oh no..." I was like "Youre kidding!" Well sadly she didnt have the keys... luckily our ride hadnt left yet so they called Chi 5 and sure enough her companion had them. Lets just say we didnt get into the apartment until about 9:30 that night.
The next morning while we are getting ready for the day Sister Lusty decides to make a smoothie for us for breakfast, while she was making it we were talking about how bad of cooks we are, then all of a sudden she goes"Oh no! This is bad, this is bad!!" ... instead of putting cinnamon in it she put cayenne pepper!!! Hahaha I died though, I thought it was the funniest thing ever.
Avelinas (the loca) Baptism:
Long story... but all that matters is that she is baptized and comfirmed now, and that she had a good time! Que bendicion!! Maybe ask me about it after the mission.
The Family!!!:
So we have been teaching this family Marcelino, Maria, Marcela, Emilio, & Sara they are seriosuly all my favorite people. We had such great lessons with them and put the WHOLE family on date for baptism for the 26th of DECEMBER!!!! Maria, Marcela and Sara all came to church yesterday (Marcelino was working, and Emilio didnt wake up in time... he was SO sad he missed it!#healsobrokehispinkypromise) But it was the greatest thing ever, they fit in so well and the two girls are so excited to come back for the youth activities this week! Seriously it was the best having them there, the ward was so excited as well! I know I already said it but I LOVE this family!!!
It snowed for the first time on friday ):
Oohhh we are now bus life no more bike life #sadday...
But I love you all, I love this gospel, and I love being the Lords missionary!
